Call of Juarez: The Cartel – Demo und Koop-Modus zum Shooter geplant

Entwickler Techland plant eine Demo und einen Koop-Modus zum dritten Teil seines Shooters Call of Juarez: The Cartel. Unklar ist allerdings, wann die Demo erscheinen soll. Im Laufe des Sommers 2011 soll das Action-Game für PC, PlayStation 3 und Xbox 360 veröffentlicht werden.

Neben einer Demo zu Call of Juarez: The Cartel, wollen die Entwickler von Techland auch einen Koop-Modus in den Shooter integrieren. Entgegen der Koop-Modi anderer Games, will man diesen Modus in Call of Juarez: The Cartel für drei Spieler konzipieren. Blazej Krakowiak von Techland International in einem Interview mit dem Internet-Portal scrawlfx (engl.):

„Why always 2 or 4? We had this idea for this story for three characters, and since the story is so important, we decided ‘yeah, we can do a co-op for three, why not?’. There is no good reason to keep it at four or two. It just works for the story that we’re telling.“

Wann die Demo erscheinen wird, ist bis dato allerdings noch unklar.

Call of Juarez: The Cartel soll im Sommer dieses Jahres für PC, PS3 und XBox 360 erscheinen. Erst vor Kurzem wurde der Release des Titels angekündigt und Details zum dritten Teil des Western-Shooters bekanntgegeben.
